Casper Mattress Review
The Casper is a 9.5″ mattress constructed from 4 layers of foam.
Top layer (poly foam) – the top layer is 1.5″ of responsive poly foam. This layer provides a great bounce and quick responsive for the mattress. In addition, it is also better at providing cooling feel than memory foams.
Second layer (memory foam) – the middle layer is 1.5″ of memory foam. It has a density of 4.0 PCF, which makes it nicely firm. This layer is responsible for great support, pressure relief, and good contour to every curve of body. By placing it below the layer of poly foam the heat retention of memory foam is minimized.
Third layer (support foam) – 1.5″ of transition poly foam. This foam has a density of 2.5 PCF. This layer works to provide a transition from the comfort layers to the base foam.
Bottom layer – (support foam) – the bottom layer is a 5″ high density support foam. It has a density of 5 PCF. Due to this, the foam is very firm. In addition, it can strongly support the above layers. Along with that, it helps enhance the deep compression support for the mattress.

Casper’s cover has a simple design for look with two tones, white on top and grey running along the perimeter.
The white fabric on top is constructed from 100% polyester, which provides soft, stretchy, and thin feel. Meanwhile, the side panels are constructed from a blend of polyester and polypropylene. These components make the fabric sturdier and durable. Along with that, the textiles in the cover are imported from Belgium, but assembled in the USA.
Firmness, Comfort, Support and Others
Casper mattress offers sleepers medium firmness, which can be preferred by the majority of sleepers, especially, side sleepers and back sleepers would like this firmness much more than others. If 10 is the firmest on the firmness scale, the firmness level of Casper mattress gets 6 out of 10 on the firmness scale.
Along with that, this firmness also make the mattress sunk further when placing pressures. If you are a side sleeper, the mattress will make you feel more hug but still provide you a floating feel. The Tempurpedic Cloud Supreme Breeze is built from 4 separate layers of foam, for total 11.5 inches in thickness.
Top layer (comfort) – this layer is built from 2″ of visco elastic memory foam. This layer will provide the sleeper the initial softness while lying on the mattress. Additionally, it will be contoured to every curve of your body and make you feel more hug.
Second layer (comfort & support) – this layer is made of 2″ of vicso elastic memory foam. This layer will combine with the top layer and enhance the softness and contour.
Third layer (support) – this layer is constructed from 4″ of polyurethane foam. This layer acts as the main transition layer between the comfort foams and foundational layer.
Bottom layer (support & foundation) – this is made of 3.5″ of polyurethane foam. As a dense foam, this can provide the deep compression support for the sleeper as well as provide a strongly foundational base for the mattress.

The Tempurpedic mattress’ cover has a nice design. It looks modern and quite luxury. It is built from polyester (94%) and spandex (6%), which makes the fabric soft, stretchy and durable. In addition, the top piece of fabric can manage temperature regulation throughout the night. This means it adds the cooling feel for the mattress.
Along with that, the cover has the blue trim that runs along the entire perimeter of the mattress. This conceals a zipper and allows you to remove the top piece of the cover for easy cleaning.

The Tempurpedic Cloud Supreme Breeze mattress is a 5 out of 10 on the firmness scale (where 10 is the most firm).
Due to this firmness level, the mattress can provide a pronounced softness and contour. It lets you sunk into the mattress, and contoured to every curve of your body. If you are a side sleeper, your hip and shoulder will be enveloped and supported nicely. Certainly, heavy sleepers would be sunk deeply. What else? This mattress would not provide a pronounced bounce, but this mattress can do a good job in terms of motion transfer. This makes it more perfect when choosing a mattress for couples.
